Your Role

As a key member of our growing practice, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with firm partners while building strong relationships with clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Preparing year-end financial accounts and income tax returns across all entity types

• Conducting business analysis (ratios, benchmarking, tax planning, etc.)

• Managing compliance with all statutory obligations

• Liaising with the ATO and other government bodies

• Providing software consultancy support to clients

• Using the ATO Tax Agent Portal for day-to-day operations

• Growing your expertise toward a future role as a Tax Specialist and Supervisor

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with a keen eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to continuous learning. You’ll need to demonstrate:

• Excellent organisational and file management skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• A proactive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn

• Precision and accuracy in all work

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• A natural ability to build professional client relationships

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Accounting from an Australian university

• CPA in progress (we provide full CPA support and sponsorship)

• Solid understanding of the Australian taxation system

• Sound technical grounding in both tax and accounting principles

• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and 360 Simple Fund

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
